My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) novel Chapter 2412

"Mr. Tremaine, how do you know that Ruth is the one who made the bread?" Sheldon gasped.

Tremaine did not answer him.

He continued to look out the window with his deep eyes as if he was in a trance.

After a while, Sheldon realized that Tremaine was not going to answer his question, hence he said, "Mr. Tremaine, I will be leaving first."

Tremaine remained silent.

With that, Sheldon quietly left Tremaine's office.

Tremaine remained standing at the window for quite some time.

Recently, he seemed to be easily distracted. Even if he was at the office, he would still stare out of the windows for hours on end.

Sheldon could guess the reason why Tremaine was distracted.

It might be because of Yesseca.

Even though he was married to Rorita, he still could not forget about Yesseca.

So what if he could not forget about her? It was impossible for the two of them to be in a relationship.

Sheldon sighed heavily.

There was a saying that went like this.

'If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it is yours. If it doesn't, it was never meant to be.'

He learned of this saying when he was watching a dramatic TV series with Preslie back in Nashaland.

Back then, he thought the saying was a little ridiculous.

How could you set something that you loved with freedom? Wouldn't you be gifting others what you loved? Just because of fate?

Nonsense!

Fate had always been in our own hands.

However, Sheldon realized otherwise on this day.

The saying was not wrong.

Fate was never in our own hands.

Not even someone as powerful as Mr. Tremaine could control his fate.

The same could be said for him...

An individual with a beautiful smile appeared in his mind.

The individual had a round face, slightly chubby.

Ruth was true.

Of course, there was another reason for him to go. It was a reason he would not admit to, he actually wanted to visit Preslie.

After two hours, Sheldon arrived at Yesseca's bakery.

The bakery was busy as ever. However, he saw no signs of Yesseca and Preslie.

Sheldon asked around and found out that Yesseca had gone to her new store.

Sheldon was stunned and asked, "There's another store?"

"Yes, it was opened not long ago," the shop assistant smiled, "Business is too good. If we don't open a new branch, we wouldn't be able to handle the growing customers we have now."

One of the shop assistants interrupted, "Not only are there customers, there are also lots of people buying over the Internet. Business is just too good."

Upon hearing the shop assistant's words, Sheldon was touched.

Back when Yesseca first opened the store, he thought that it would just be a plain store. Who knew that they would grow and have a branch.

Hence, Sheldon went to the new store.

The first person he saw in the new store was Yesseca.

Yesseca was currently explaining some work to a shop assistant. Upon seeing Sheldon, Yesseca was stunned for a moment, then she smiled and said, "Sheldon, welcome."
