He didn't avoid the question anymore, "Finding a heart that matches your body is a very difficult task. Your family has put up a notice with a huge cash reward, but there hasn't been a suitable donor yet."
The doctor sighed and said, "You still have two and a half months. Don't worry, there's no need to be sad. Do whatever it is you need to do."
But the doctor had already considered Yesseca's case to be a lost cause.
But Selina and the others were still holding on to hope, which made it hard for the doctor to be straightforward about it.
Yesseca's body swayed after she heard everything the doctor told her.
She had her suspicions about it, but could never confirm it.
She found something strange about the way Sheldon spoke to her yesterday.
She wanted to ask Preslie about it, but felt that she would have kept the truth from her, so she decided not to.
So she decided to seek out her doctor this afternoon and consulted with him.
Although the doctor didn't tell her outright, Yesseca was an intelligent woman. Based on his response and Yesseca's understanding of her body, it was obvious that she only had two and a half months to live.
It was only a few minutes to the doctor's from Yesseca's ward, but she took ten minutes to get back.
Every step she took was extremely difficult.
Before she could reach her bed, her legs went weak as she collapsed onto the ground.
"Yesseca!"
Someone yelled out her name from behind her. It was Kylin. He dashed over to her as quick as lightning and caught her in time.
Kylin helped Yesseca back onto her bed.
Yesseca's face was deathly pale when she asked, "Kylin, am I going to die?"
They've already been looking for half a month now. There was no hope of finding one.
On top of that, based on what the doctor told her, she could guess that she only had one of two ways of getting a heart. If it really came to it, she would not accept it.
Yesseca then closed his eyes.
Kylin thought that Yesseca was feeling tired and defeated, so he tried to encourage her, "Yesseca don't be sad. We'll try everything we can to save your life. Medical science has advanced a lot now, there's bound to be a solution!"
Yesseca's eyelashes began to tremble. After a brief moment, she opened her eyes again.
She looked at Kyi in and said, "Kyi in, I need to rest. Can you leave?"
Kyi in was still worried about her.
Yesseca smiled at him and said, "Don't worry, I'm fine."
