Yesseca turned away.
She looked very sad. "Tremaine, since there is no way of saving me. Please just try to have a happy life. Consider that my final wish."
The word 'final wish' hit Tremaine like a ton of bricks.
He felt his head buzz.
His vision started to go blurry.
He slapped himself in the face to snap out of it, but he hit himself too hard and collapsed onto the floor.
"Tremaine!" Yesseca shouted so loud, her voice echoed loudly in the ward.
Tremaine fainted after being awake for three whole days. He had also been overwhelmed by grief and pain.
Yesseca was also rushed into the operating room. The shock of seeing Tremaine collapsed was too much for her.
Preslie and the other women panicked, only Matthew and Kyi in were able to keep calm and sort things out.
Yesseca's condition soon stabilized. Tremaine was still unconscious and would wake up soon.
Selina could barely contain her tears after she was brought back into the ward.
It was thanks to Matthew's constant reminder that helped Selina to remain calm, "Yesseca, please promise me you won't do that again, okay? Tremaine is just another person who's a passer-by in your life. You don't need to be worried about him."
She then pulled Yesseca into her arms. Her throat felt like it was on fire.
But Yesseca was still going to die.
At the very least, they hoped she could live another day more.
Getting her to live for another was a huge comfort to them.
The moment she saw Yesseca beiung wheeled into the operating room, Selina felt faint.
She was so scared that Yesseca would die on the spot.
Luckily, the doctors were able to resuscitate her.
"Okay Selina, I won't do it again." Yesseca replied while looking very guilty.
Selina didn't say anything else. She only tightened her grip around Yesseca's arm.
The moment she noticed that Tremaine's hair had turned grey, she felt worried and anxious about him all over again.
That's why it was best if she never saw him again.
She couldn't risk getting herself triggered again.
In her case, seeing Tremaine was much too torturous for her.
It was also time for Tremaine to go back to his regular life.
Yesseca laughed bitterly.
She had hoped that in the final days of her life, she and Tremaine could finally bury the hatchet, shake hands and move on with their lives.
But, he was the only man she ever truly loved.
She couldn't stay calm no matter how hard she tried.
Even though they didn't feel any hatred for each other anymore, there was still too much pain for the past.
