Aimeen sneered internally.
Flesh and blood?
To hell with that.
If she did give birth to Dory, she would consider Dory as her precious daughter.
But Dory wasn't.
She could do whatever she wanted to Dory.
However, outsiders would not agree with her.
If outsiders knew that Dory was not her daughter, they would immediately call the police for child abuse.
"Listen up, grandma. It has nothing to do with YOU! So get lost! NOW!"
The old lady looked at Dory who was behind Aimeen.
With tears in her eyes, Dory desperately waved to the old lady.
The old lady knew Dory was asking her to leave.
She couldn't help but sympathize with this kind child that was afraid of involving others even when getting beaten.
It was why Dory asked her to leave even when she was helping Dory.
The old lady sighed.
What a poor girl.
"Aimeen!" The old lady said, "If you hit Dory again, I'm calling the police."
Aimeen sneered, "Go ahead! There's nothing wrong with me hitting my daughter anyways. Even if I kill her in the process, it'll be useless."
The old lady was raging at Aimeen's shameless remarks that she could not speak.
In fact, she also knew that it was useless.
Because she had been to the police station once.
The police laughed.
They said they had seen too many such cases.
Parents disciplining their naughty children were normal.
The old lady had been explaining the situation to them for the whole day but to no avail. In the end, they asked her to go home.
