Yesseca nodded at Selina.
Selina knew Yesseca got her meaning.
She said to Angelica, "Let's go home."
It was not a big deal for children to quarrel.
There was no need to distinguish right from wrong.
Therefore, the best way to resolve it was to separate the children.
But Angelica was unwilling.
She said, "Mom, I'm not going home! You have to stand up for me!"
Selina said in a gentle voice, "Angelica, I believe in you, but at the same time. And Madam Cowell also believes in Montez. So there's no need to distinguish who's right and who's wrong. Let's just forget it."
Angelica was not happy about it.
She wanted to say something.
However, she remembered how much Selina cared about Yesseca. Now that Yesseca was siding with Montez, Selina would definitely not do anything to him.
Angelica had no choice but to go home with Selina, despite being unsatisfied.
Before leaving, she turned around and glared at Montez.
Yesseca noticed.
She didn't say anything, but after Angelica left, she said to Montez, "Don't be mad. Just know that I believe in you completely."
His eyes sparkled as he said, "I am not. As long as you trust me, I don't need anything else."
She couldn't help but smile.
He was such a good kid.
Then, they chatted with each other.
Halfway through their conversation, Ruth arrived.
She was even more excited to see Montez than Yesseca was.
