Tremaine stood still, his eyes widened in disbelief.
After a moment, he asked, "Sheldon, I didn't catch that. Say it again."
Sheldon couldn't hold back how happy he was when repeated, "Sir, Miss Cowell is inviting you to dinner this weekend."
"Clack!"
The pen Tremaine held in his hand fell onto the ground.
He quickly stood up and strode over to Sheldon. "She said that? Did she really say that?"
"Yes sir, Miss Cowell said so herself!"
Tremaine walked over to the other end of the room without saying a word.
He paced from one end of the room to the other.
He practically walked in circles around his office.
Then he stopped in front of Sheldon.
He stared into Sheldon's eyes, "You're very sure? You are certain that she said? Really?"
"I'm sure!" Sheldon said firmly, "I'm one hundred percent sure of it, sir!"
Tremaine still didn't believe it.
He then said, "Sheldon, punch me!"
Sheldon looked at him incredulously.
"Punch him?"
No way!
Sheldon replied, "Sir, I really shouldn't hit you."
Tremaine lifted up his arm and balled his fingers into a fist. He was about to punch himself.
Sheldon quickly noticed this and moved in to stop Tremaine.
He caught Tremaine's arm and held it back.
"Sir, please! You mustn't injure yourself! I'm certain that Miss Cowell means to invite you for dinner! If you won't believe me, I'll call her right now!" Sheldon then took out his phone.
He dialed Yesseca's number.
The call connected.
"Yes sir." Sheldon replied guiltily, "I had told your son by accident and he told her."
Tremaine didn't get angry at Sheldon.
He was much too happy about Yessica's invitation to dinner. He had no time to get mad at Sheldon.
"Sheldon, help me prepare." He ordered.
Sheldon laughed out loud. "Sir, it's only dinner with Miss Cowell. There's no need to prepare for anything."
Soon it was the weekend.
In Agaphen City.
Yesseca got up early today.
She was constantly reminding herself.
That today was just like any other ordinary day.
Just like how it had always been, it couldn't be any more ordinary than usual.
But her emotions were going crazy.
