They ate together for an hour and a half.
If Yesseca hadn't invited him to dinner, Tremaine might never have had this opportunity.
Tremaine hoped that their dinner could last forever.
Just like how they always ate together before.
Unfortunately, it was over.
Yesseca went to pay the bill.
Tremaine stayed seated.
Not because he wasn't willing to pay for it.
But because Yesseca had invited him.
He was worried that he might upset her if he went and paid for it in advance.
After she had paid the bill, Tremaine didn't want her to leave so soon.
They hadn't said a word to each other during dinner.
But Tremaine hadn't felt this happy in forever.
He hadn't felt like this ever since Yesseca left.
He wanted to make some progress.
Finally, Tremaine offered, "Would you like to get some coffee? My treat."
Yesseca had wanted to refuse.
She had already come all this way to Nashaland to treat him to dinner.
But, she didn't know why, when she saw how cautious he was.
No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't refuse him.
Yesseca nodded.
Tremaine was very happy.
The two of them walked to a nearby cafe.
Even though Tremaine had a car.
He chose not to drive.
He wanted to spend as much time as he could with Yessica.
He even secretly wished that the cafe wouldn't even be there.
So that he could walk with Yessica forever.
But they eventually reached the cafe.
They both walked in.
Tremaine ordered two cups of coffee, both the way Yessica liked.
Yesseca was surprised once again.
