My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) novel Chapter 2695

Since Aimeen wasn't around, Dory could relax for a moment.

She rushed over to the window.

She looked down and saw Yesseca walking away.

She didn't look away until Yesseca was out of sight.

She then sat down on a small chair on her balcony. Placing both of her hands on her chin, she sighed.

She thought about what Yesseca had just told her.

She has to be brave and stand up for herself so that Sabrina would stop bullying her.

But, she didn't want to.

She had stood up to her once before.

Sabrina told her to do her homework, but she refused. Because of this, Sabrina ended up throwing her school bag on the ground. Then she stomped on it.

Dory was very angry.

She had never been so angry before.

Because her school bag was very precious to her!

Yesseca had given her the money to buy that bag.

That bag also had a cute cartoon character printed on it which she really liked.

And Sabrina had stomped all over it!

She pushed Sabrina so hard, she fell onto the ground.

Sabrina, furious at this, went to tell the teacher.

The teacher then called Aimeen to the school.

Aimeen slapped her in the face when she found her in the teacher's office. After taking her home, she yelled at her to never offend Sabrina again.

"You dumb girl! Didn't you hear me the first time?! Sabrina isn't like you or me! She comes from a rich family! You cannot offend someone like her!"

Ever since then, she never fought back against Sabrina's bullying.

No matter what Sabrina did to her, she didn't fight back.

This was the same reason why Dory apologized to Sabrina in front of Yesseca earlier today.

She didn't want to anger Aimeen.

The angrier her mother became, the more careful she became.

She was terrified of angering her mother, so she tried her best to not upset her at all. That way she could at least have some peace at home.

That's all Dory thought about nowadays.

She was constantly worried about her mother getting angry.

She tried her best to be the best daughter to her mother. She would always smile and speak kindly to her.

She felt that the only reason her mother was always angry at her was because she wasn't good enough.
