Dory was no longer worried about being a child bride.
Seeing Yesseca, Dory knew that she would definitely not be sold off.
The fear of being a child bride had been thrown out the window.
At this moment, Dory was focused on what her distant relative had said.
She said that she wasn't Aimeen's biological daughter.
Dory looked at Yesseca and said, "Madam Cowell, she mentioned that there's no bloodrelation between my mother and I. Was the result wrong?"
Dory had never suspected that the result was wrong.
She trusted Yesseca too much.
From her point of view, Madam Cowell wouldn't make any mistakes no matter what she did.
It wasn't until the distant relative said something like that that Dory began to wonder.
Hearing what Dory had just said, Yesseca's mind went blank.
She immediately stared at the distant relative. "What did you say? You said that Dory isn't Aimeen's biological daughter?"
A guilty look flashed across the distant relative's face.
Obviously, she was aware that she wasn't supposed to spread this news.
Otherwise, Aimeen wouldn't spare her!
However, she had been too anxious previously. She wanted to coax Dory back so that she would be willing to be her daughter-in-law!
She accidentally let this secret slip.
So, the distant relative tried to deny this.
She said, "What did I say? I didn't say anything! Of course Dory is Aimeen's biological daughter! Whose else could she be?"
As soon as she finished speaking, the bedroom door opened and Aimeen came out.
Although the TV was loud, the commotion outside was even louder.
Aimeen heard the noise outside and came out to have a look.
