Yesseca replied, "Then Tremaine can pursue you.”
Preslie was speechless.
She was rendered speechless by Yesseca and could only stomp her feet. "Yesseca! What are you talking about! Why would Tremaine pursue me! You're the one he likes!"
"You're kidding! Yesseca! Don't make such a joke next time! Otherwise, I'll be angry!"
Preslie had never imagined that Yesseca would suddenly say something like that.
Yesseca said helplessly, "Preslie, you also know that it's impossible, right? Then why are you nagging me?"
Preslie was stunned.
In an instant, she understood what Yesseca meant.
Yesseca wasn't joking. She just told her in the simplest way that it was impossible for her to be with Tremaine.
Preslie hesitated and said, "Yesseca, don't you have any feelings for Tremaine?"
Yesseca turned away.
Something flashed in her eyes as she said, "Preslie, it doesn't matter whether I have feelings for Tremaine or not because it's impossible between him and I. I may look soft, but I'm actually a very decisive person."
"I've made this decision many years ago. I won't change my mind, so-"
Yesseca looked at Preslie solemnly. "If you're my good friend, don't say anything else, okay?"
Preslie had no choice but to remain silent.
She sighed, and a trace of regret flashed across her face.
She felt sorry for Yesseca and Tremaine...
The next day soon arrived.
Yesseca accompanied Dory for the entire day.
She could tell that Dory was forcing a smile.
It was obviously hard for Dory to accept her biological mother's identity.
But she was also a sensible child.
No matter how sad she was, she still hid the sadness in her heart.
