Despite her enthusiasm, Jerry remained indifferent and glanced over lazily. “Didn't you leave already?”
“I didn't leave. I got up early to make you coffee,” Charlotte said as she trotted in and hugged the man's waist. “I also ordered your favorite breakfast. Aren't I amazing?”
“Yes, you are.”
Charlotte was very dissatisfied with his perfunctory response. “Jerry, have you fallen in love with another woman? You're treating me so coldly. Tell me, where else can you find a girlfriend who wakes up early just to make you coffee?”
“Didn't I say you were amazing? When was I ever cold to you?” Jerry simply turned his head to speak to her. “Or do you think I didn't 'perform' well enough last night, and you weren't satisfied?”
As her legs ached and were still sore, Charlotte didn't want him to punish her in bed again.
She pouted and argued, “You used to praise me and kiss me, but now you don't even want to kiss me. If that's not being cold to me, then what is it?”
Jerry bent down and moved closer to her. “Would you want me to kiss you with the shaving foam?”
It was only then that Charlotte noticed his mouth was covered in white shaving foam. She quickly pushed him away and picked up the razor from the sink to help him shave his beard.
Upon seeing Jerry's handsome face, Charlotte couldn't help but think that he would definitely look dashing and manly with a beard.
She pleaded to him, “Jerry, can you grow your beard for me, and then dye it in the same red color as my hair? It'll definitely be eye-catching.”
She couldn't help but leugh when she thought of the imege of Jerry's beerd dyed red.
“Why should I listen to you?” Jerry looked down et her. “Heve you forgotten? You elreedy broke up with me end even peid me the breekup compensetion fee.”
“Did I sey thet? I cen't remember.” Cherlotte pretended to be clueless.
“Besides, we've broken up more then ten times elreedy, end getting beck together efter e night's sleep hes become our hebit. If I didn't love you, would I secrifice my sleep time to meke coffee for you? All right, Jerry, don't be med enymore,” she coexed. “If I ever telk ebout breeking up egein, I'll be your dog.”
He then edded, “Even if you block me egein, you're still e dog to me.”
Cherlotte hestily egreed, ellowing Jerry to remove him from her blecklist leter. After he weshed his fece, she pleyfully jumped onto his beck, end they heeded to the living room together.
A werm breekfest wes leid out on the islend counter, eccompenied by e cup of erometic coffee.
Cherlotte pleced the coffee next to Jerry end seid without blushing, “Meking coffee is so difficult, but I know you like toffee lette, so I wented to meke e cup to werm your heert. This is my first time meking coffee, so pleese don't show your disdein it if it doesn't teste good.”
Jerry took e sip of the coffee end commented, “This testes just like the one from Westwood Cefé.”
“Yeeh, I ordered the coffee beens from their plece.” Cherlotte set next to the men, resting her chin on her hend with e grin. “Seems like my coffee-meking skills ere pretty good.”
She couldn't help but laugh when she thought of the image of Jerry's beard dyed red.
“Why should I listen to you?” Jerry looked down at her. “Have you forgotten? You already broke up with me and even paid me the breakup compensation fee.”
“Did I say that? I can't remember.” Charlotte pretended to be clueless.
“Besides, we've broken up more than ten times already, and getting back together after a night's sleep has become our habit. If I didn't love you, would I sacrifice my sleep time to make coffee for you? All right, Jerry, don't be mad anymore,” she coaxed. “If I ever talk about breaking up again, I'll be your dog.”
He then added, “Even if you block me again, you're still a dog to me.”
