Genevieve raised her brows and said, “Oh, we can’t tell you.”

Cooper could not help but laugh.

Since they wanted to have barbecue for lunch, Cooper drove them to the incgamall. After lunch. they could go shopping

Once they arrived at the barbecue restaurant, Genevieve said she wanted to go to the restroom.

She only returned when the barbecue was ready. In her hands, there was a gift bag.

Genevieve handed the bag to Jane. “This is for both of you.”

Jane took out the exquisite gift box and saw a pair of couple watches in the velvet-lined box. The design of the dial plate was very ingenious. Whatever was missing in the male watch was all found in the female version.

When they placed the two watches side by side, the pointers made sounds that sounded like heartbeats.

Jane was astonished as she exclaimed, “They’re so pretty!”

“I sent someone to look for the watches for a very long time before I managed to purchase them.” said Genevieve. She pointed at the couple watches and continued. “Both the watches and the cost are astonishing.”

Resting her chin in her hand, she asked, “Why? Do you want me to put the watches on for you?”

Cooper smiled and removed the watch that he had been wearing. Jane picked up the new watch and put it on his wrist.

In return, he put the female watch on for Jane.

Genevieve sighed and mumbled to herself, “Why did I even say that just now? I’m just torturing myself.”

Jane pursed her lips and smiled. “Thank you, Genevieve.”

“Call me Genev in the future. I’m happy to see that the two of you are happy. Let’s have some barbecue. Later, we can go shopping for clothes.”

Genevieve and Jane spent the rest of the day shopping in the mall. By the time they arrived home, it was already past eight o’clock.

“Ms. Rachford.”

Rosa went over to help Genevieve with her bags and said, “This afternoon, Mr. Sullivan sent some things over. I have left them in your room.”

Genevieve acknowledged with a nod. “Thank you.”

Steven had sent her some documents and two boxes of sweets. The sweets were all individually packed, and they looked like gummy candies.

Genevieve checked the back of the box and felt a little puzzled.

It was not typical of Steven to send something like that!

Without thinking too much. Genevieve unwrapped a piece of cancy and ate it. She realized it was strawberry-flavored, and it was enjoyably chewy.

Just as she was about to take another piece, she saw that someone had written on the box that she was only allowed one candy cach day. Thus, she quickly put the second piece back into the box.

She then took the documents with her to the bathroom. While she was taking her bath, she

After her bath, Genevieve made a video call to her daughter.

Amanda was very enthusiastic this time around. She looked around Genevieve with her huge eyes before asking, “Mommy, where’s Mr. Gable?”

Genevieve did not expect her daughter to ask about someone else the moment she answered the video call.

She replied with a sigh, “Mr. Gable is a friend of Mr. Sutton. I don’t know him too well. It’s getting late, and I’m going to sleep soon, so of course, he’s not around.”

Anyway, she had deleted all communication with Bruce.

She just was not close to him.

Amanda sighed with disappointment. She had hoped to meet Bruce and talk to him again.
