My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 149

Chapter 149

When Esther moved her hand away, Bradley’s heart had an inexplicable sense of regret. Originally, he was not a highly sensual man, but for some reason, when Esther was coquettishly acting spoiled, an almost absurd thought came to his mind-he wanted to make Esther cry in his arms.

Esther leaned on the armrest of the wicker chair, searching for lingerie on her phone. A faint blush of shyness tinged her ears as she looked at the details of the pictures.

Seeing Esther suddenly become so quiet, Bradley felt somewhat uncomfortable and asked, “What are you looking at?”

Esther did not dare to let Bradley know that she was looking at lingerie for some naughty time. She blushed and whispered, “I was thinking that it’s still a bit early to go to bed. How about we go to the

cinema to watch a movie?”

Felix, who was watering the flowers, heard the mention of watching a movie and excitedly ran over to Esther and Bradley, saying in a sweet voice, “Daddy, Mommy, I want to go watch a movie!”

Bradley shot down the idea. “No, you can’t go to crowded places yet.”

Knowing that he could not persuade Bradley, Felix tried another approach and said, “Mommy, let’s go. watch a movie together. I’ve never been to a cinema before!”

“Okay!” Esther opened the ticket booking app and asked in a gentle voice, “How about we watch The Great Sage? Is that good?”

“Sure!” Esther went ahead and bought the tickets.

Bradley cleared his throat as she selected two seats and said, “Three tickets.”

“Ah…”

“Daddy, I thought you didn’t watch movies?” Felix asked knowingly.

Esther smoothly resolved the awkwardness for Bradley and said, “Felix, shouldn’t a beautiful Mommy like me have a knight in shining armor?”

Felix vigorously nodded.

“Yes!” Felix hugged Bradley and playfully said, “Daddy, let’s be Mommy’s knights!”

Bradley lifted Felix in his arms and indifferently said, “The movie starts in half an hour.”

“Let’s go, let’s go watch the movie!”

Felix’s clothes got wet while playing with water, prompting Bradley to take him to change into casual clothes. Meanwhile, Esther, who had been busy in the kitchen for a long time, changed into a going-out outfit.

“Wow… we’re wearing matching outfits!”

Bradley wore a suit with a blue tie. Esther also wore a blue dress. As for Felix, he wore clothes in the same color scheme. When the three of them stood together, it was a perfect family outfit.
