My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 163

Chapter 163

Unaware of Leah’s disgust, Billy assumed her anger was related to Liliane’s illness. He attempted to appease her, saying, “Darling, I didn’t mean to burden others with Liliane’s situation. We should establish a good relationship with him. If you’re not in the mood to eat, we can wait until Liliane gets better…”

“Wait until Liliane gets better? If it wasn’t for your illegitimate daughter outside, would Liliane even be sick?” Leah angrily pointed at Billy and scolded, “Let me tell you, if anything disrupts Bradley and Liliane’s wedding, I’ll immediately take Liliane abroad.”

“No!” Billy assured, “Their wedding will proceed smoothly.”

“Billy, I don’t expect you to visit the hospital every day, but focus on Bradley’s affairs and avoid causing

more trouble.”

“Alright, I’ll go now.”

Billy intended to leave, but Liliane, feeling sorry for him, handed him a glass of milk.

“Dad, have some before you go.”

“No, I’m going to see Bradley.”

With that, Billy departed from the hospital and drove to Primus Mansion. However, upon reaching the mansion, he could not enter as he was on the visitor blacklist, courtesy of Bradley, who had prevented him from meeting Esther.

Inside the mansion, Esther and Bradley were having breakfast with Felix. Bradley cleared his throat awkwardly and spoke in a cold tone. “Felix, eat quickly. We’ll be late for school!”

Although Felix had been unable to attend kindergarten due to his health in the past, now that he had recovered, Bradley wanted him to gradually integrate into society.

Upon hearing that he had to go to school, Felix’s little face instantly fell, and he wailed, “I don’t want to go.

to school.”

“No, you have to,” Bradley and Esther said simultaneously, halting Felix’s protests.

Felix pouted, expressing his grievances. He pitifully said, “But I’m still sick, and I don’t want to go to

school.”

Esther comforted him softly, “Felix, when you go to kindergarten, you can make new friends…”

Looking even more upset, Felix scrunched up his small face and said pitifully, “I don’t want new friends. I only want Mommy”

He wondered what would happen if he wasn’t with Esther and someone bullied her.

Bradley spoke with seriousness and determination. “Felix, we can’t be by your side forever. There will come a day when you have to be independent and live away from your parents. We’re teaching you independence.”

Felix took a step back and made a request. “Then, will Mommy and Daddy come with me?”

Esther smiled and agreed, “Of course! Today is your first day of school, a memorable day. Mommy and Daddy will accompany you to school.”
