Chapter 195
Esther observed Anna carefully as she helped her with the wedding dress in the mirror. After a while, she shook her head gently. “We’ve never met before.”
If Esther had encountered such an elegant and graceful artist like Anna, there was no way she would have forgotten it.
“Perhaps it’s just my imagination.” Anna glanced once again at the butterfly birthmark on Esther’s right shoulder. She smiled faintly and said, “You look stunning in this wedding dress, Mrs. Warner.”
As a designer, Anna had strict requirements for her creations. Every piece of fabric, thread, and diamond had been meticulously examined countless times.
This wedding dress represented all of Anna’s hard work. After designing and making it, she had been unable to find a suitable model. However, when Esther put on this intricate and magnificent dress, Anna was instantly amazed.
It seemed as if the dress had been tailor-made for Esther, fitting perfectly in terms of bust, waist, and hips. It was neither too loose nor too tight, flawlessly embracing Esther’s figure.
Satisfied with how Esther looked in the dress, Anna said softly, “Mrs. Warner, please wait a moment. I will have a makeup artist create a complete look for you.”
“No need for the trouble,” said Esther.
No woman could resist the allure of this dress, and Esther was no exception. She raised her gaze and looked at herself in the mirror, astonishing even herself.
“You have to trust me. I’ll make you the most beautiful bride in the world,” claimed Anna.
Since Anna insisted, Esther did not refuse this time.
The hairstylist casually styled Esther’s hair, and Anna carefully placed a diamond crown, fit for a queen, on Esther’s head. The makeup artist draped a makeup cover around Esther’s neck and skillfully applied makeup.
Using an eyebrow razor, the makeup artist tidied up the tiny hairs around Esther’s already beautiful eyebrows. Esther’s facial features exuded a soft charm with her oval face rather than the popular pointy-chinned structured type. Hence, a natural and gentle eyebrow shape was the most suitable for her, avoiding anything too straight or exaggerated.
Preserving Esther’s original eyebrow shape, which resembled distant mountains, calm and gentle without any aggressiveness, the makeup artist enhanced her features without heavy application. The light makeup complemented Esther’s luxurious dress and highlighted her natural beauty.
“Mrs. Warner-”
Esther tilted her head slightly and whispered, “Anna, you can call me Esther.”
“Esther, you’re truly beautiful,” exclaimed Anna.
