Kevin noticed that Esther had a high fever, prompting his instincts as a doctor to grab an electronic thermometer and measure her temperature. The result was astonishing-Esther’s forehead temperature reached 39.9°C. 

“Bradley, Esther’s fever is extremely severe. I strongly recommend taking her to the hospital, “Kevin said. 

A chilling coldness flickered in Bradley’s eyes as he replied, “Will you take responsibility if she escapes?” 

Kevin pointed at the unconscious Esther and firmly stated, “Considering her current condition, if she isn’t taken to the hospital soon, she may face serious 

face serious consequences.” 

“Medicine.”

Kevin prepared some medication from the medical kit for Esther to take. Although her high fever persisted, he wrote down the necessary medications and sent one of the Warner drivers to retrieve them from the hospital. 

Esther’s fever visibly subsided within an hour of taking the medication, perhaps due to her tenacity. 

The night at the Warner residence was unsettling and terrifying. 

Observing Esther’s fever subsiding successfully, Kevin glanced at Bradley, who wore a menacing expression. Unaware of the truth, Kevin speculated, “Bradley, did Esther kidnap Felix out of resentment for your marriage to Liliane?” 

Kevin had no favorable impression of Esther. Growing up with Bradley since childhood, he knew firsthand how well Thomas treated Esther. However, even this kind and loving old man became a target of Esther’s ruthless actions! 

Until the video was released, Kevin couldn’t believe that such a heartless woman like Esther existed in this world, capable of harming an old man who showered her with love. 

Bradley rubbed his temples, throbbing with pain, and coldly said, “That’s not it.”
