“Esther, everyone has a motive for their actions. If you claim Liliane removed the oxygen mask, tell me, what would she gain from doing that?” 

Even now, Billy couldn’t believe his biological daughter, Liliane, could be so scheming and deceitful. Esther’s accusation against Liliane was based on a dubious audio recording without any visual evidence. Was it fair to blame Liliane solely based on that recording? 

“Isn’t it obvious?” Esther knew Liliane was capable of taking small steps to achieve her goals. Whether you believe me or not doesn’t matter anymore.” 

Esther’s priority now was to search for Felix by the sea, despite the slim chances. She refused to give up, firmly believing her son was still alive.
