My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 272

Chapter 272

“Esther? Esther?” Kevin called out.

Knowing how important Felix was to Bradley, Kevin personally supported Bradley and

brought him to the room to use a stethoscope and check his condition.

“Bradley, I understand you’re anxious about Felix’s situation, but rushing things won’t help,” Kevin said, seeing Bradley’s gloomy expression.

Sensing the need to change the subject, Kevin asked, “What are you planning to do with Shane?”

“Leave it to Chief Zigler,” Bradley replied.

Bradley made a phone call to Joseph and sent him a copy of Shane’s confession video. He entrusted the rest, including how Shane would face legal judgment, to the police chief. “Right.” Kevin responded coldly. “There’s no need for you to dirty your hands with someone like him!”

Esther’s clear gaze met Kevin’s face.

Kevin had once fallen into the water, and Bradley had saved him, so he was Bradley’s most loyal follower. Little did he know that Esther was the one who had noticed the accident and brought Bradley to save him.

Upon learning of Thomas’ accident, Kevin made the resolute decision to study medicine.

Esther saw through Kevin’s naive nature easily.

“Kevin, I don’t think we’re that close,” Esther replied calmly.

Kevin huffed, looking at Esther with anger. “Esther, don’t think you’re the only one saddened. by Felix’s situation. You’ve only been with Felix for a few days, and you’re already so sad. Bradley, who personally raised him, is even more heartbroken-”

Esther retorted coldly, “What are you trying to say?”

“What do you mean? What am I trying to say?” Kevin huffed and rolled up his sleeves, feeling like arguing with Esther. “You should think about what you should do as Bradley’s wife!”

“Let me correct you. I am not Bradley’s wife,” Esther said, her voice devoid of emotion. “I’ve
