Chapter 302
Esther replied, “Probably because your seeds aren’t good enough.”
In truth, Esther knew that Bradley might not be the issue but rather her severely damaged body. When she gave birth prematurely to triplets in prison, she didn’t receive proper postnatal care or recovery, which naturally weakened her body.
“I’ll take you to the hospital tomorrow for a full-body examination,” Bradley said.
Esther looked coldly at him as she casually picked up a book on prenatal education and absentmindedly flipped through its pages.
“Esther, if the examination results show that natural conception isn’t possible, I’ll arrange for you to have in vitro fertilization,” Bradley added.
“Suit yourself,” Esther replied.
That evening, the maid immediately called Jasper as soon as she finished her work.
Jasper met the maid secretly at the earliest opportunity upon receiving her call. When he learned of Esther’s plan, he breathed a sigh of relief and said, “I’ll prepare the wig. Give this mobile phone to Esther.”
The maid looked at the phone in Jasper’s hand but didn’t take it. She explained, “Mr. Searle, the signal in Madam’s bedroom is blocked. Besides, we can only use work phones when we’re working, not personal ones.”
“Then tell Esther to take care of herself, and I’ll come to her rescue when the time is right.” Jasper pushed a bank card toward the maid and calmly said, “Consider this a token of my appreciation.”
The maid accepted the bank card and promised, “Don’t worry, Mr. Searle. I’ll take good care of Ms. Quill.”
The following day, Esther, who had been confined to Warner Manor, was finally allowed to leave. However, it wasn’t due to Bradley’s guilty conscience but because he was taking her to the private hospital under the Warner Group.
Esther underwent a full-body examination conducted by a nurse. While she was being examined, Liliane and Liam, who were recording a program at the hospital, arrived at the ultrasound room.
As Liliane looked at the frail Esther, especially noticing the hickeys on her neck, she couldn’t help but feel jealous.
She had stayed by Bradley’s side for over four years using the identity of Felix’s biological mother, but Bradley had never made any intimate advances toward her.
Yet, now, the typically reserved Bradley had left intimate marks on Esther.
“Esther, long time no see,” Lillane greeted Esther gracefully in front of the live camera
“Move aside, don’t get in the way!” Esther responded, upsetting Liam.
Liam stood in front of Liliane, acting as a protective guardian, and spoke with an unfriendly tone. “Ma’am, please speak with respect.”
