My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 341

Chapter 341

Esther believed that the Quills, being a prominent and influential family, would require a DNA test to acknowledge her as part of their lineage.

“No need for a DNA test,” Oliver said with a smile, looking at Esther. “You’re Faye’s daughter, which means you’re part of the Quills.”

“But…” Esther hesitated, thinking that it wouldn’t feel legitimate or official without a DNA

test.

“I am currently the head of the Quills. Nobody would dare question anyone I bring into the family,” Oliver reassured calmly. “You are under the protection of the Quills. From now on, you can do whatever you want. You don’t have to fear Bradley Warner and don’t need to fake your death…”

“But I’m afraid of causing trouble for the Quills,” Esther expressed her concerns about the potential trouble Bradley might bring.

Oliver’s calm eyes resembled clear springs as he looked at Esther. With a light smile, he said, Esther, the Quills have the ability to protect you.”

The more unconditionally Oliver protected Esther, the more uneasy she felt. It was as if a stroke of good fortune had suddenly come her way, making everything seem surreal.

“Thank you,” Esther expressed her deep gratitude.

Oliver generously handed her a black card and explained, “Esther, this is my gift to you as your uncle. You can use it to buy anything you want.”

The unlimited black card made Esther realize the immense financial power of the Quills. Astonished, she replied, “No, this is too much.”

Oliver casually picked up a teacup from the table, took a sip of tea, and said, “Just a black card is nothing to mention.”

Esther looked at the unlimited black card in front of her, feeling a mix of emotions. In this world, many people would never have the opportunity to experience the luxury of a black card in their entire lives. However, when it was given by an elder, she couldn’t refuse the gift.

She stopped declining any further and readily accepted the unlimited black card. “Thank you, Uncle Oliver.”

Oliver was pleased that Esther accepted the card. To him, spending money on loved ones was a way of showing affection.

Setting the teacup down gently, Oliver asked warmly, “Esther, what are your plans for the future?”

“I have given birth to a son and two daughters during my time in prison. Tinkerbell is no longer with us, and I want to take Felix abroad to find Pixie.”

Oliver’s gaze fell upon Felix, who was reading a book with the housekeeper in the distance, and a hint of amusement flickered in his eyes.

“This little one is quite interesting. I have never seen a child who considers studying as a hobby before.”
