Chapter 343
Esther reached out and embraced Felix, speaking softly. “Felix, we’re going abroad to find Pixie now.”
“Really?” Felix’s eyes glittered as he looked at Esther.
“Absolutely.” Esther held Felix’s hand firmly and said seriously, “You still have a choice, Felix. If you want to go back to your father, Uncle Oliver will arrange it. But if you want to come with. me, you must promise not to tell your Daddy where we’re going. Take your time to think about it before we leave.”
After Esther finished speaking, Felix bravely declared, “Mommy, I want to find Pixie with you!
“Are you certain?” Esther asked.
Felix nodded firmly. “I’m certain.”
Esther held Felix’s hand tightly and informed Oliver, “Uncle Oliver, we can leave now.”
“Then let’s get on the helicopter.”
Esther and Felix didn’t have much to pack as guests on the island. They simply boarded Oliver’s helicopter and departed from the island.
During the helicopter ride, Oliver revealed their destination: Macatus.
“Esther, I have everything arranged in Macatus. Once the helicopter lands at the airport there, you can proceed directly to the plane with your passports.”
Esther hadn’t expected that Oliver had actually arranged a private jet with a pre-approved flight route to take them overseas. This was what it meant to be wealthy.
After completing the necessary procedures, Esther and Felix flew abroad. Esther wasn’t sure if they would find Pixie overseas, but she had to try, even if there was just a glimmer of hope.
After seeing Esther’s flight depart from Macatus, Oliver called Jasper to express his gratitude.” Mr. Searle, I wanted to thank you for your help with Esther. I’ll let you handle the project in Capitus.”
Upon receiving Oliver’s call, Jasper replied softly, “Mr. Quill, I didn’t do it for the
money.”
“Mr. Searle, consider it a token of my appreciation. Please don’t refuse,” Oliver insisted.
Jasper understood Oliver’s intention and replied with a small smile, “I suppose I can accept it then.”
“You’re welcome to visit Capitus anytime, Mr. Searle,” Oliver said.
“If the opportunity arises, I’ll personally pay you a visit, Mr. Quill.”
After a brief conversation with Oliver, Jasper ended the call. He glanced indifferently at the data on the screen, snorted, and casually turned it off.
‘Bradley, the first gift has been delivered. I hope you like it.’
The Warner Group was currently eerily silent. Employees held their breath and tried to blend. into the background, fearing Bradley’s wrath. They all knew the corporation was on the brink of an unprecedented crisis.
“Mr. Warner, there are issues with the Smilville project.”
“Mr. Warner, someone has taken over our project in Macatus!”
