My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 352

Chapter 352

Twinkle was just a little girl, shorter than the piano when standing.

Yet, when she played, she had the explosive impact of a volcano erupting.

With a loud “boom”, the entire stage resembled a canvas of twinkling stars, like a galaxy.

“I’m going to earn more money to take care of Felix. And I want to find Pixie, so I’ll need money for that.”

Anna guided Esther to have some tea. “Rest for the night. Tomorrow, I’ll take you to meet an investigator. Do you have any information about Pixie?”

“Yes, I have all the details about her adoptive family right here.”

“Trust me, Esther, this will work out in your favor someday.”

Felix had recovered and now resided in a foreign castle, allowing him to return to his naive and romantic self, just like the little boy he had always been.

Whenever he saw something, he would curiously ask about it.

Esther struggled to handle her son’s endless stream of questions, but fortunately, Anna found a butler to help care for him.

“Come, Esther. Let me show you to your bedroom.”

Anna had prepared many clothes and cosmetic products for Esther.

She said in a gentle voice, “This is your room. Since Felix is a boy, I added a child-sized bed in the room next door. Take a look and let me know if anything is missing, and I’ll ask the butler to buy them right away.”

“It’s alright. We can buy them ourselves tomorrow,” Ester replied.

Anna smiled. “Alright, get some rest. Also, you should probably let Oliver know you’re safe. He tried his best to help you when you were in trouble, but…”

“I understand.”

After Anna left, Esther called Oliver to inform him that she was safe.

“I’m glad to hear that you’re safe, Esther.”

Oliver’s voice was like a well-aged wine. Though it may not have a strong alcoholic taste, it left a lasting impression with each sip.

“Thank you, Uncle Oliver. I was just worried that-

Oliver interrupted her firmly, “I can protect you, but I need you to trust me.”

“Okay.”

Oliver smiled. “Well, enjoy yourself. When you find her, come back to Capitus. I’m sure our relatives would love to meet you.”

“Okay.”

Oliver continued. “Feel free to buy whatever you want with the card I gave you, whether it’s a

house, a car, a plane, or a yacht, as long as it makes you happy.”

Esther and Oliver had not spent much time together, yet she didn’t feel any distance between them when they spoke. In fact, she considered Oliver the closest person she had to a family. She was confident that Oliver could protect her.
