My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 374

Chapter 374

Despite that, Esther would only resort to this path as a last resort. She first had to discuss it with Jasper to see if he could forge a statement in Bradley’s name.

“Jasper, it’s me.”

“What’s up?”

Jasper was in a meeting but excused himself and returned to his office with his phone.

“I found Pixie. The people who adopted her had a car accident shortly after arriving overseas. She was then sent to Church Maria as an orphan and got adopted again from the church.”

Jasper was delighted. “Esther, congratulations. You’ll soon get what you want.”

“But there’s a problem. Since Pixie was adopted, I need to prove that I’m her biological mother to get her back. Even if I can do a DNA maternity test with Pixie to prove I’m her biological mother, I still need Bradley to issue a statement giving up his parental rights.

“Jasper, I understand that the church wants to avoid any potential risks, but could I call Bradley? Moreover, even if I do call him, will he be willing to provide such a statement? Do you think we can forge one?”

Jasper frowned. “Esther, you mustn’t forge any documents while abroad. Let’s do this. I’ll go talk to Bradley and ask for a declaration giving up his parental rights. If he agrees, then everything will be fine. If not, we’ll find another solution.”

Esther was anxious. She sighed and helplessly asked, “What if he refuses?”

“Esther, after all you’ve been through to escape from him, do you really want to put yourself in danger again for Pixie?” Jasper’s tone was grim. “If Bradley refuses to provide the statement, I’ll find a way to force him.

“If that doesn’t work, we can go live online and let the world see what kind of person he really is. Besides, you don’t need to be afraid at all this time. You have the support of the Quills. If Bradley wants to imprison you again, he has to think twice about them.”

“Thank you, Jasper.”

“Look forward to my good news.”

Jasper went to Bradley’s office. He stood at the door and lightly knocked.

Bradley glanced up, holding a diamond-studded pen. He fixed his sharp gaze on Jasper’s face and sneered. “Jasper, are you here to laugh at me?”

“I’m not that free.” Jasper walked directly to the leather chair across from Bradley and sat down. “I need you to provide a voluntary statement giving up your parental rights for Pixie.”

Upon hearing that, Bradley leaned back on the leather chair with a smirk. His cold eyes were filled with mockery. “Jasper, did Esther send you to ask for this declaration?”
