My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 461

Chapter 461

A bodyguard helped Esther sit on a nearby chair while another bodyguard promptly handed

her a water bottle.

Esther glanced at the bottle but gently shook her head. Thirst wasn’t her concern. Drinking didn’t cross her mind. Her focus rested on waiting for Felix near the operating room’s

entrance.

This time, Felix’s injury was an accident. Esther even blamed herself, believing his accident. wouldn’t have happened had she not brought him back to the country.

Such thoughts brought uncontrollable tears down her cheeks.

The bodyguards shared her guilt. Their role was safeguarding Esther, yet she often faced peril.

Jasper sat on a bench across from Esther, engrossed in his phone. He searched for possible. consequences of car jumping and the opinions of experts in that field.

“Esther, I just searched online. There’s a renowned expert who excels at treating injuries like Felix’s. How about 1 contact this expert now?”

Esther replied hoarsely, “Please do.”

Jasper made a call to the expert. Unexpectedly, the expert’s assistant politely rejected the request before Jasper got to speak with them.

Jasper pondered and suggested, “Esther, this expert is in Capitus. Maybe you should contact Mr. Quill. It might be more effective.”

Esther wiped the tears from her face and called Oliver.

“Uncle Oliver.”

Oliver was in a meeting but quickly gestured for silence and asked, “What’s wrong, Esther?”

“Uncle Oliver, my son fell from a moving car. He’s currently being treated at People’s Hospital. Jasper just found out about an expert…

Jasper showed Esther the phone screen. She glanced at the name on the screen and exclaimed, “The expert’s name is Agatha Foster. It’s said that she’s very skilled in treating…”

Before Esther could finish her sentence, Oliver understood her intention. “I’ll bring her over immediately. Don’t worry, Esther.”
