Jasper stared challengingly at Bradley’s furious expression. He spoke calmly but provocatively, aiming to incite Bradley. “Bradley, soon, Esther won’t be yours anymore!” 

During the trip to the hospital, Bradley’s main concern had been Felix. He had gone through numerous challenges to locate the hospital where Felix was being treated. As he reached the entrance of the operating room, he overheard Jasper and Esther talking. 

An instant feeling of betrayal overwhelmed his rationality. He wanted to teach Jasper a lesson, to show him that even in death, Esther must be recognized as Bradley Warner’s wife. 

Esther watched coldly as Bradley, who showed no concern for Felix, engaged in a pointless power struggle with Jasper. Her heart grew cold. 

She had once believed that even if Bradley didn’t love her, he would care sincerely for Felix. Now, she understood that Bradley was completely heartless. He couldn’t love he had no feelings. 

“Bradley, Felix’s life is at stake now. I don’t want you here. Please go.” 

Esther’s words snapped Bradley back. He let go of Jasper’s collar and confronted Esther fiercely, “How dare you mention Felix in front of me? If not for you, would Felix be in this situation? You and Jasper hid Felix, making me believe he was dead-” 

Before Bradley could finish, Esther slapped him. It took all her strength, and her palm tingled from the force. 

“You’re the one who always believed Felix was dead…” 

Bradley’s expression turned icy. He gritted his teeth, speaking sinisterly. “Esther, I get why you kept insisting Felix was alive. You and Jasper put on a show for me while having an affair.” 

“Felix is still in surgery. I don’t want to argue.” Esther’s voice was hoarse and helpless. “If you still care for Felix, then wait here for updates. If you want trouble, leave.” 

Bradley ignored Esther’s words. His eyes blazed with fury. 

“What are you pretending to be here, a virtuous mother? If not for your influence on Felix, how could he have jumped from the car…” 

Jasper was incensed and forcefully pulled Bradley to the stairwell. 

“Bradley, you should be asking yourself why Felix jumped. If you didn’t take him away to threaten Esther, would he have jumped? If you had taken the time to properly secure Felix’s seatbelt before leaving, would Felix have jumped? Bradley, don’t you want to know why Felix is still alive? 

“I’ll tell you! It was my people who saved Felix! If you don’t believe me, I have videos of my people rescuing him, including all the subsequent footage. 

“Yes, I admit I had selfish motives. I wanted Esther to leave you. Bradley, everything you’re doing now only makes me feel that my actions were justified.
