My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 482

Chapter 482

Objectively, considering everything Bradley had done to Esther, Jonathan would have already grabbed a knife and fought Bradley to the death if Esther were his daughter!

“Mr. Warner, remember, the court values evidence. We have lots of evidence, but we’re unsure about the number of witnesses and evidence the other party possesses,” Jonathan reminded. It wasn’t just about the lawyers’ speaking skills in court. What mattered most were the facts and evidence. It was like how Esther’s denial had been useless five years ago when there was clear video evidence.

“So, what’s your point?” Bradley asked.

Jonathan stood confidently, his demeanor earnest. “Mr. Warner, we’ll adjust based on the evidence presented by the other side. We won’t push against the divorce if things don’t look good. Instead, we’ll focus on gaining custody of Felix and prepare for the next trial.”

Bradley gave Jonathan and his legal team a chilly look. “You decide how to fight the lawsuit, but I must win. Are we clear?”

“Yes, Mr. Warner.”

“Got it.”

Guided by Tanya, Esther took her seat where she should.

This much-anticipated trial had drawn a lot of attention. Not only were people tuning in through live broadcasts, but some had also come to the courtroom early to see this important case firsthand.

Tanya sat confidently. With her evidence and witnesses, she felt certain about winning this divorce case! A victory here would make her name known across the legal world. It would show she was the best at handling divorce lawsuits, boosting her career.

She gave it her all, putting in 100% effort. She aimed to outshine the legal team from Warner Group.

“Feeling nervous?” Tanya asked.

Esther shook her head, her calm gaze landing on Bradley’s empty seat across the courtroom. In her younger days, she had only wanted to marry Bradley, even considering a life together. At that time, she had been charmed by the front he presented.

Her love had been fearless and pure. But after her passionate love diminished, all that

remained were ruins and emptiness.

“We have plenty of evidence. Trust me, we’ll win,” Tanya reassured.

Esther smiled at Tanya. “Yes, we’ll win.”

Oliver and Jasper left their tasks to personally attend the trial, standing by Esther in her most important case, Meanwhile, Agatha stayed with Felix at the hospital, observing the trial via live stream.

With a loud noise, the courtroom doors swung open.

Bradley and his legal team walked in right on time. The lawyers were all in suits and ties, ready for a battle.
