Chapter 529
“Let-”
A man dressed in an Armani suit looked at Esther lewdly, shamelessly admiring her tear-filled eyes.
“Tsk, tsk, tsk, your frightened expression is quite exciting, I must say!”
Fingers tainted with the scent of cigarette smoke brushed against Esther’s red lips, and a suggestive breath tickled her ear. Be a good girl and listen, understand?”
Fearfully, Esther nodded.
The man laughed arrogantly, triumphant. “You didn’t really think I’d spare you, did you?”
Esther forcefully bit the man’s finger, causing him to wince in pain and furrow his brows.
He lifted Esther and unceremoniously threw her onto a bed with cloud-patterned sheets.
Esther’s head hit the wooden bed frame, and she saw stars. Ignoring the pain, she immediately tried to get up and escape.
The man grabbed her hair and straddled her. “Esther, do you think the Quills can protect you?”
Esther glared at him and warned, “Aren’t you afraid of retaliation from the Quills?”
“The mere Quills? I’m not afraid, you get it?”
The man pulled a candy from his suit pocket, used one hand to hold Esther’s chin, and roughly stuffed it into her mouth.
Esther instinctively knew that whatever the man was giving her was not something good. She used her tongue to press against her palate, trying to prevent the candy from entering her body.

However, the man was prepared. He took a bottle of mineral water and poured it into her mouth. The colored candy dissolved upon contact with the water.
Esther’s beautiful face became even more alluring due to the spilled water.
“Let… go of me.”
Esther’s face turned red from the choking.
“Esther, you don’t really expect the Quills to turn against my father just for you, do you?”
The man crossed his arms and looked at Esther mockingly.
“Are you thinking of shouting for help now?
“Think about what others will do when they see you and me together.
“I’m single now, so you can only become my wife!”
The man extended a finger and lightly traced the water on Esther’s face. With an intoxicated expression, he gazed at her flushed face due to coughing.
“Don’t worry. I won’t do anything to you now.”
The man towered over her as if he regarded everything and everyone with disdain in his eyes.
He had encountered and slept with numerous women, but none had given him the same sense of desire to conquer as Esther
