My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 708

Kevin didn't wait for Bradley to say "leave". He stood up first and said, "Don't blame us for what happened. Reflect on why Esther is in this condition. Is it our fault? As the instigator, you bear full responsibility for the current situation."

Inside the conference room, the lights were bright, but the weather outside was turbulent, with howling winds, pouring rain, and thick dark clouds. Lightning streaked across the night sky, creating an overwhelming sense of fear.

Each expert in the room wore a concerned expression. Bradley's anger left them speechless. However, if Esther really died today, they would have to face his wrath!

Bradley walked up to Kevin and grabbed his collar, commanding, "Kevin, get into the operating room now!"

Kevin calmly faced his anger. "Bradley, you need to face reality."

"As long as Esther is alive, you must—"

Kevin seemed to give in. "Actually, it might be better if Esther passed away. You've repeatedly exploited her and kept her against her will. If death is her only way out from you, I will grant her that."

Bradley tightened his grip on Kevin's collar, his emotions unreadable.

Kevin couldn't understand why Bradley continued to target Esther, especially after the video proved her innocence. Moreover, Esther had only been threatened by Chadwick to save Bradley...

Kevin choked back his regret and said, "Bradley, it's my fault. I shouldn't have told Esther about your liver cancer."

When Kevin saw Esther covered in blood, he instantly knew Bradley must have subjected her to inhumane "treatment" during the time he had kidnapped her.

"You don't have a choice," Bradley gritted out.

Kevin said with a desolate chuckle, "I do. I told you I won't be your accomplice. Whether Esther lives or dies is in the hands of fate.

"Bradley, if you want Esther to live, you should pray to God yourself! Get on your knees and beg in your prayers!

"I believe our doctors have done their best in her treatment. Whether she lives or dies is up to you, not me!"
