My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 711

The priest's face lit up with a smile as he gazed at the cross in the main hall.

"I can't say," he replied.

Jasper didn't follow the priest's gaze. Instead, he looked up at the dark, cloudy sky above.

"I'm an atheist," Jasper declared. "If she can survive, I'm willing to believe in God."

The priest said, "Sincerity can move mountains."

Several hours later, a private plane cut through the stormy clouds and touched down at the airport in this brutal weather.

Agatha, accompanied by Jacob, Sunshine, and Felix, arrived at the hospital from the airport.

Kevin felt a wave of relief wash over him when he heard Agatha's footsteps. "Dr. Foster."

Agatha paid no heed to Kevin and walked directly to Bradley. "Do you want her to live or die?"

Baffled by Agatha's actions, Kevin nervously asked, "Dr. Foster, let's discuss this later. Esther's condition is worse than we expected. Why don't you check on her first?"

"Kevin," Agatha called.

Kevin promptly cleared his throat and asked, "Dr. Foster, how can I assist you?"

Agatha gazed at him with indifference, her heart aching deeply. "Why should I save Esther? Should I put in all that effort to save her just for Bradley to come and torment her?"

"No, Dr. Foster, Bradley wouldn't do that." Kevin gestured toward Bradley, trying earnestly to convey his message.

"Grandma Foster…" Felix observed Bradley's expression, grasped Agatha's slightly cold hand, and asked innocently, "Is Mommy going to die?"

"Felix, it's not up to me to decide. It depends on your father." Agatha had no intention of upholding Bradley's image as a father in front of Felix.
