The service staff were startled as Kevin suddenly pulled Esther out of the bedroom. One of the maids, eager to please Bradley, immediately called him.

"Mr. Warner! Dr. Slade has taken—"

Kevin noticed the maid informing Bradley and quickly snatched the phone, violently throwing it to the floor.

Positioning himself between Esther and the approaching service staff, he handed his phone to Esther and said, "Esther, drive away when the right moment comes while I hold them off.

"Don't be afraid even if they try to block you. As long as it won't harm them, just drive through. This is your only chance. Once you escape and meet Jasper, he'll arrange for you to reunite with Felix abroad."

Esther asked hoarsely, "And you?"

"Don't worry about me! Would Bradley really kill me?"
