Kevin witnessed the black off-road vehicle plunging off the cliff right before his eyes. His legs gave way in horror.
"Bradley!"
Bradley glared at Kevin and snapped, "Shut up!"
He swiftly unfastened his seatbelt, opened the car door, and dropped to his knees as his legs gave way.
Kevin took a deep breath, cautiously approached Bradley, and extended his hand. "Bradley—"
Bradley brushed off Kevin's hand, steadied himself against the car, and slowly stood up. They both headed toward the cliff's edge. Just as they neared it, a strong gasoline smell filled the air.
"Oh no! The car is leaking gasoline!"
Kevin called 911 without delay. "Hello? There's been a car accident on Coastal Highway 9—"
Before Kevin could finish his sentence, flames flickered before his eyes.
Accompanied by a deafening roar, a fiery blaze illuminated the pitch-black night. The fire was too intense for Kevin to approach.
"Bradley... Bradley..."
Kevin looked at Bradley in distress and muttered, "Esther's still inside the car!"
Bradley pulled out his phone, maintaining an unprecedented composure amidst the chaos. "There's an accident on Coastal Highway 9. The car fell off the cliff and exploded. There's a person inside the car. Please send rescue and an ambulance immediately."
