My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 831

Xara's pregnancy came as a big surprise to Steffan, and he never expected to receive such a special gift on Jacob's birthday. The moment he learned about Xara's pregnancy, she became a cherished treasure to him.

Steffan and Jacob carefully protected Xara in the middle.

This scene appeared very unsettling to Bradley. He felt like needles had pricked him for some reason.

From the moment Bradley sat next to Felix, the latter ignored him, and they sat in silence.

Breaking the silence, Bradley cleared his throat and asked, "Felix, will you come back with me?"

Sunshine spoke up for Felix. "He won't go with you."

Bradley's gaze turned icy as he looked at Sunshine's face, but his tone softened involuntarily. "I'm asking Felix."

"I'm answering for Felix," Sunshine said, placing a hand on Felix's shoulder. "You're not a good dad. Felix won't go with you!"

Bradley furrowed his brow, and his tone suddenly grew colder. He looked at Felix in the distance with a dark gaze. "Felix, answer me!"

Felix took out his phone and wrote a message in his notes.

[I will not live with you anymore.]

Bradley never expected his own son to respond this way after going through so much trouble to find him. He wanted to take Felix back and search for Esther with him.

Even though the world claimed Esther was dead and he had seen her being cremated, he still believed she was alive.

"Felix, you're my son," Bradley stated.

Felix gave Bradley a resolute look.

[I'd rather not be.]

"You saw the car fall off the cliff with your own eyes.

"You saw the firefighters retrieve a charred corpse from beneath the cliff.

"You even witnessed her being pushed into the incinerator.

"Why do you keep telling yourself that she's not dead? Is it because you refuse to face the truth or because you're too cowardly to admit that you're responsible for her death?"

Agatha slowly stood up and looked down at Bradley.

"If you hadn't used Jolene as bait to take Esther away half a year ago, she wouldn't have died.

"Five years ago, if you hadn't been so arrogant and refused to listen to Esther's explanation, she wouldn't have spent five years in prison.

"Bradley, are you avoiding reality because you can't face it?"
