My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 838

Logan leaned in, whispering to Esther, "That's impossible."

From his observations, the group appeared cautious. It seemed highly unlikely they were here just for a drink at this hour.

"Is that so?"

Esther and Logan kept their eyes on the men.

Meanwhile, Bradley, who had been unsuccessful at the Sandersons, entered the bar. He was handsome and immediately drew the attention of many women as he walked in.

Esther glanced at Bradley, surrounded by a bevy of beautiful women. She let her hair down and took Logan's aviator sunglasses.

Logan grabbed Esther's hand, asking in a hushed tone, "What are you doing? Don't move!"

"My enemy's in the bar. I don't want to see him just yet."

More importantly, Esther couldn't allow Bradley to jeopardize her mission.

"So troublesome." Logan put the aviator sunglasses on Esther, affectionately adjusted her hair, and asked, "Where's your enemy?"

Esther gritted her teeth. "The man surrounded by all those beautiful women."

Logan scanned the bar and easily spotted Bradley, who had striking features and extraordinary charisma. Surrounded by so many beautiful women, he stood out even more.

"Bradley Warner is your enemy?" he asked.

Esther responded with a nonchalant hum.

His wife was gone. His son didn't want him. He had transferred the Warner Group from his name. It seemed there was no place for him in the world.

Bradley looked at the various women around him and felt an overwhelming sense of desolation. Suddenly, he saw a familiar figure in the dimly lit bar.

In an instant, his entire body's blood seemed to boil. Ignoring the beautiful women surrounding him, he stood up and headed into the crowded dance floor.

The dance floor was packed with people. Bradley seemed to be blocked by an invisible force, but he pushed through the crowd, determined to reach that familiar figure.

His heart pounded like a drum, and his blood felt like it was boiling. Even though he hadn't yet seen her face, he was certain that it was her.

She was the one he had longed for, the one he dreamed of. He would give up everything to hold her in his arms again.
