A week later, the search and rescue in the town were completely over. There was no necessity for Edward to stay any longer and he had to return to S city first.

Because of his previous absence, Long's Company is in an unprecedented crisis.

"Sir, Golden Bridge Company is urging us to pay for goods." The finance director said with trepidation.

"Don't bother me with such little thing. Just give it to them." Edward said impatiently.

"But we have no money on our account, we ..." The finance director hesitated.

"What's going on?" Edward was really angry. As far as he knew, the company still had several hundred million dollars of working capital. How could it have disappeared all of a sudden?

"Three days ago, the new products of our company which released in advance was involved in an infringement case, and now all the funds on the account have been frozen."

"Who let you release the products in advance? Isn't it half a month before the press conference?"

"It is Lady Long. "It was Catherine, who was the shareholder and director of the company. She barely cared about the company and it was odd that she suddenly started to deal with the business.

"Find Laura." Edward suppressed his anger and wanted to ask the chief designer of this batch of clothes about the whole thing.

"I'm sorry, Sir. Laura hasn't been in the company for two days." The finance director also felt something was wrong. "Mr. Long, shall we call the police?"
