"What do you mean?" Bella's stepmother looked guiltily and turned to the young man standing by the car.
"Just tell her the truth. It has nothing to do with you anyway." The man said impatiently.
Bella's stepmother gritted her teeth and said frankly: "I knew your father died from a fall in a mental hospital in the suburbs. Ask Ruby for the rest."
"Is there anything to do with her?" Bella's heart suddenly burst. Ruby used to be a psychiatrist and once joked that she would send anyone she hated to a psychiatric hospital.
"Ruby has taken all the property under your father's name except for this house. What do you think about her?" Then Bella's stepmother got into the car with a look of resentment.
Watching the black Audi drifting away, Bella could not recover for a long time. Her father died in a mental hospital. How?
"Ruby, why don't you even let my father go?" When night came, darkness once again enveloped the whole villa. Bella curled up in the corner of the sofa without turning on the light in the large living room.
Her hand was still holding the check for 300,000 given by Ruby this morning. She was absent and did not know what she was thinking.
She went to a mental hospital this afternoon to investigate. Her father was indeed sent by Ruby and jumped to his death three days after admission. Now she seems to have no family member left in this world except for her son Albi.
The thought of Albi made her weep. Now she missed her son again.
At this time, the villa door opened and a cold wind blew in from outside. Then she saw a tall man standing at the door.
"Eldest sister-in-law, is that you? Why didn't you tell me when you came back? " Jason Long pushed the door and strode towards Bella.
Bella recognized him — Jason Long, Edward's cousin. He was the one who saved her from the sea. Without him, she would have disappeared into the world along with her son.
