In a private hangar at Flameco Airport in Eterna, a strikingly beautiful woman with long blonde hair descended from a sleek private jet. Ahead of her was a all, commanding man with sharp, rugged features, his face partially covered by a neatly trimmice beard and a pair of aviator sunglasses. Standing at over six feet, he exuded an aura of power and confidence.
As he stepped off the plane, he turned and flashed the woman a charming smile. She followed gracefully, wearing an elegant belge dress paired with matching heels. In her hands, she carried a Silverman & Reed hat and oversized Chanel sunglasses. Once she stepped onto the tarmac, she donned the hat and glasses, shielding her eyes from the sun. The man took her hand, and they walked together toward customs.
The pair was discreetly surrounded by a dozen bodyguards. While the man walked with ease, exuding composure, the woman’s serene exterior masked her aner turmoil. Her stomach churned as waves of nervousness overtook her–it had been years since she last set foot in Valentia.
“Relax, Valerie,” the man said in a low, reassuring volde. “Everything is fine. You have nothing to worry about. I’m here to protect you.”
As they exited the airport, Frederick Sanders, a distinguished man in his sixties, awaited them. Despite the years, Frederick’s sharp presence had not dulled, and his loyalty remained steadfast to the man now standing before him.
“Sir, ma’am, welcome back! The car is ready. Let’s go, Frederick said, gesturing for them to proceed.
“Frederick, give me a moment,” the man replied, helping the woman into the SUV before walking over to Frederick’s car.
Once inside, Frederick handed him a leather portfolio. “Sir, here’s all the information we gathered on the Palmer and Levett families. It wasn’t easy, but we searched every corner of Valentia. Are you sure you want to show this to Mrs. Bartz? What’s in this file is extremely delicate.”
“She needs to see it, Frederick. No one deserves to live in the dark about what was done to them. We returned for this–for justice.”
“I understand, but tread carefully. The Levetts have gained significant power since aligning with the Palmers. They’re not to be trusted.”
“I know that better than anyone, Frederick. Don’t forget, they owe me much. What my wife needs is justice. What I want… well, that’s something else entirely.“.
Meanwhile, in the other vehicle, Valerie stared out of the window, her thoughts drifting to the past. Returning to Valentia was painful, yet she couldn’t let the truth about her suffering remain buried. She had learned the identity of the person responsible for her pain, and leaving things unresolved was not an option.

A single tear rolled down her cheek as she murmured I’m back, Frank Levett. There’s nowhere in Valentia you can hide, you bastard.” Her expression hardened, transfotining from gentle to cold and resolute.
Minutes later, the man returned to Valerie’s car, carrying the leather portfolio.
“My dearest Valerie, let’s go home. I’m sure you’ll like it. It’s a charming little house in Westhaven- very chic and, most importantly, secure.”
