After a few minutes, Mary came out wearing a beige, long–sleeved, off–the–shoulder fitted dress with matching high–heeled sandals. The shoes elongated her figure, and she secretly thanked Regina for always making her wear heels when they went out, as she wouldn’t have been able to walk in such beautiful shoes otherwise. 

Meanwhile, at Palmer Group, Maximus couldn’t wait to meet the newest member of his team, so he spoke to Matthew. 

“Matthew, when will Alexia arrive?” 

“Sir, she won’t be here today. She’s in orientation. If you want to see her, it’ll have to be tomorrow–or at lunch today, but I don’t think that’s a good idea. We want to avoid gossip on her first day.”
