Peter and Celeste drove along the highway, heading towards dark and Isolated area, Celeste couldn’t shake her growing unease as the city lights faded into the distance. “Miss Johnson, don’t worry,” Peter replied, his voice calm. The place we’re heading to isn’t in that area. I told you I’d take you to see the stars, and that’s exactly what I’m doing.”
Celeste sat in silence, unsure how to respond. He seemed so relaxed, yet she couldn’t shake her fear. Thoughts of danger filled her mind–she’d heard stories about the wealthy indulging in cruel games with less fortunate individuals. If something happened to her, who would even notice besides her cat? She was lost in these thoughts when Peter’s voice broke through.
“Miss Johnson, we’ve arrived!”
She turned to him, her face pale with worry.
“There’s no need to be afraid. Look,” Peter said, stepping out of the car and gesturing toward the surroundings.

Celeste hesitated, unsure of his intentions, but accepted his gesture as they moved forward.
They entered a spacious hall with an open design. Three walls were made of glass, while the ceiling was completely open to the night sky. Each table was illuminated by a single candle, providing just enough light for guests to enjoy their meals while gazing at the stars above.
Peter led Celeste to their table, pulling out her chair for her before sitting across from her. He noticed her wide- eyed wonder as she looked around, the tension in her posture slowly melting away. When she finally smiled, albeit slightly, Peter felt a strange flutter in his chest.
“So, Miss Johnson, what do you think of the place?” Peter asked with genuine curiosity.
“It’s beautiful,” Celeste replied, her voice filled with awe.
Peter smiled, pleased with her reaction. He had chosen the venue out of curiosity and was glad it turned out to be the perfect setting.
“Well, I’m glad you like it. Seems like it was worth the scare during the drive here,” he said, watching her closely.
Celeste blushed, realizing he had noticed her earlier anxiety
“All right, Miss Johnson, what would you like to eat tonight?” Peter asked as he handed her the menu.
Celeste glanced at the prices and felt a pang of discomfort. Bach dish was far beyond her budget–two of them would cover her groceries for an entire week.

Celeste felt her nerves returning as he leaned in His scent, that intoxicating mix of subtle cologne and masculinity, enveloped her. It sent tingles through her hands and stomach, making it difficult to focus. Peter patiently explained the dishes, his voice calm and confident When she finally made her choice, he seemed genuinely satisfied.
Once the food and a fine bottle of wine were ordered, Peter initiated the conversation. Celeste was taken aback by his attentiveness—she had only met him that morning, yet he treated her as if they’d known each other for years.
“Celeste, where are you from?” Peter asked, passing her a glass of sparkling wine.
