Chapter 0864
Peter’s hands traced the body of the woman who would soon be his wife. As he explored her skin, it was as if his hands instinctively recognized every inch of her. He tried to be as gentle as possible as he made her his. He didn’t know when or how, but at some point, his own clothes had disappeared.
The heat that surrounded him as he sank into her was intoxicating, a pleasure unlike anything else. felt like he was with her for the first time.
He looked at her, kissed her, and knew that from this moment on, his life would never be the same–but he welcomed the change.
Celeste, on the other hand, was completely lost in him. In s gaze, heavy with desire. In his hands, which roamed every inch of her body. Peter was incredibly careful with her, and she could feel his breath, his nose buried against her neck, as if he were trying to memorize her scent.
Suddenly, she found herself pressed against the headboard of the bed, feeling every deep thrust he gave her.
She felt how he tasted her skin, how he lost himself in the curve of her neck. His hands explored her body as if he were starved for her–starved for everything she was.
His kisses were filled with a passion unlike any she had known before. They weren’t the same kisses as before, but she liked this version of him. This Peter wasn’t holding back. The man pressing her against the headboard was completely focused on her, his hands claiming every inch of her body.
She had been with Peter many times before, but this… this was nothing like those times. He took her hand and pressed it against the headboard, gripping it as he moved inside her with renewed fervor.
The man behind her was fire–an all–consuming, burning fire. She couldn’t hold back any longer.
The pleasure overwhelmed her, and she cried out, louder than she ever had before. Incredibly, Peter reached his climax at almost the same time, their bodies trembling together in ecstasy.
Afterward, he pulled her into his chest. With her in his arms, he kissed her deeply, his lips filled with passion, desire, and a hunger she had never felt before.
“Peter… I… I love you,” Celeste whispered.
Peter stared into her eyes. In that moment, as he saw the way she looked at him, he realized–he didn’t need anything else. She was his world. His children, his grandchild, his family–that was all that mattered.
If his past was painful, then so be it. A thousand times over, he would choose this–what he had now. He would rather forget than dwell on the past. Life was giving him a second chance, and if he could make things better this time, he would.
If this was what fate had in store for him, he would embrace it with open arms.

Alexia waited patiently for the date set by the doctors. She knew what she had to do. In the meantime, her life was quiet. The rage that had once consumed her was gone. She had accepted her fate. She had accepted that, overnight, her world had changed forever.
She recognized that everything she had done was catching up to her. Her arrogance, her hatred, her cruelty–the belief that she was untouchable, that no one could ever bring her down–had led her here.
At first, it had all started as youthful naivety disguised as curiosity. Getting involved with a man much older than her had pulled her into a world of desire, and she had let herself be swept away by it. But that path had only led her to hell. It had turned her into a mistress. It had shaped her into the woman she became.
Though, deep down, she knew–if she had truly wanted to escape, she could have. But one way or another, her parents and grandfather had marked her as nothing more than a bargaining chip.
She often got lost in these painful thoughts. It was easier than thinking about her children. About Lucius, Laura,
Paul, and Maurice. She had never been a good mother. She had been absent, impatient, and cold. And yet, Lucius had still loved her. He had loved her so much that he had wingly tied himself to this miserable life just so she wouldn’t be alone.
But she couldn’t do that to him. She had to set him free. She had to let him live. He deserved a chance to find love -real love. The kind she had denied herself. He deserved a good. He deserved children of his own. He
