My Love Until the Last Goodbye (Mary and Maximus) novel Chapter 940

Frank Levett Jr. finally woke up—only to find himself trapped in a nightmare.

Leonardo Palmer might have seemed like the most defenseless man in prison, especially at his age. But Judge Moriarty had been relentless with his sentence, refusing any possibility of house arrest. Not after learning the full extent of Leonardo’s crimes against Alexia Levett—the granddaughter and daughter-in-law he had tormented for years, going so far as to abuse her.

As Frank stirred, a deep, throbbing pain shot through his body. He struggled to piece together what had happened. His memories were hazy—flashes of a fight in his cell, an excruciating pain in his abdomen, and the image of his own hands covered in blood.

"Frank Levett! Good to see you awake. We thought you were about to check out for good," a guard said, watching him closely.

"Where am I? What the hell happened?" Frank groaned, attempting to move, but his body felt like it had been run over by a train.

The officer smirked.

"You know… people are saying you tried to assault Leonardo Palmer, and he stabbed you in the dick. Gotta say, I didn’t expect that from you. A change of taste this late in life, huh?" The guard’s voice dripped with sarcasm.

"What? What the fuck are you talking about?!" Frank snapped, his mind racing.

"If I were you, I’d start thinking about how you’re gonna survive in here from now on…"

"What the hell do you mean? Do you even know who I am?" Frank sneered arrogantly.

The officer’s smirk widened.

"I mean, you’re a fucking idiot who just got his dick cut off."

Frank froze. His breath caught in his throat. Slowly, hesitantly, he lifted the sheet covering him—and his blood ran cold.

Bandages. Gauze.

The area where his manhood had been was now gone.

"Leonardo, you son of a bitch! I'll fucking kill you!" Frank roared, his fury shaking the walls.

The officer raised an eyebrow.

"Frank… that’s not necessary. You already killed him. Right then and there. Don’t you remember?"

Frank’s face twisted in shock.

"What? I didn’t kill anyone!"

"Oh, but you did," the officer said with a chilling stare. "Right after he stabbed you—three times—with a rusted shank. We had to amputate because, well… tetanus is no joke. Consider yourself lucky you’re still alive. Leonardo? Not so much."
