It had been a long time since either of them had time for anything other than taking care of their kids. But today, with one child busy with his best friend and two exhausted babies, they finally had a chance to steal a moment for themselves in their study.

"What are you doing?" Valerie asked as she felt her husband’s expert hands start to wander under her clothes.

"Nothing… Just making the most of the moment. It’s not every day we get an opportunity like this," Marcus murmured as he got lost in her soft, smooth skin and those well-nourished breasts.

"Serenity, Laura, and the girls are in the living room…" Valerie warned.

"Give me a minute," Marcus said, pulling away, leaving her wanting more.

He walked to the door, locked it, and silently prayed for a few minutes of privacy.

"Now then, where were we?" Marcus asked, taking her by the wrist.

"Marcus, they could catch us…" Valerie said, thinking about the girls.

"Come on! It’s been months without much…" Marcus said in a pleading tone.

"Action?" she asked.

Valerie could see the pleading look in her husband's eyes. It was true—having the babies took up so much of their time. Even poor John sometimes had to step in and help however he could. Sure, they hired nannies, but it just wasn’t the same. Privacy had become a rare luxury.

Marcus cornered Valerie against her desk, placing his hands on the surface, closing the space between them.

"You know… I really miss our first days alone here," Marcus said, his eyes filled with desire.

"Marcus…" Valerie murmured, almost begging.

Marcus couldn’t hold back any longer. He grabbed her by the nape of the neck, pulled her in, and kissed her—deep, passionate, full of raw desire. Their tongues tangled, their bodies responding instantly, recognizing each other like no time had passed.

He knew they didn’t have much time before someone interrupted, so he didn’t hesitate. Moving quickly, he pulled off Valerie’s sweater, leaving her in just her bra.
