Coming out of Evermark Jewelers, Felix walked down the street in a daze.

Watching the cars coming and going, he felt that it would be fine if he just died like this.

His father, Darien Harrison, suddenly appeared in front of him and said, “For the sake of a woman, making yourself neither human nor ghost, seeking death and life, who is it for?”

“Two people came and dragged him back for me.”

He was then escorted onto the car by two bodyguards and taken back to the Harrison family’s mansion in New York.

Darien sat in front of him with a serious face and said, “You scoundrel! I entrusted the busi- ness to you because of my poor health, but with your uncle’s family watching closely on the side, afraid they wouldn’t catch you making mistakes. And what happened?”

“There were jokes in the business world, and now it’s even more reckless, causing one scan- dal after another. Can’t you see how the stocks have plummeted recently?”

Felix stood in the center of the living room with his head hanging down, not even changing his expression.

Darien was so angry that his fingers were trembling as he pointed at him, circling around him and cursing loudly.

Darien has always been proud of him.

He excelled in his studies from a young age, effortlessly winning awards in various hobbies and interests. After his eyesight recovered, he broke the competitive stalemate between Darien and Darien’s brother, taking over the management of the Harrison family from Sir Harrison.

Darien happily retired and traveled abroad to explore.

Now he has made a fool of himself like this, and the company is full of problems every- where.

How could Darien not be angry?

However, Felix did not have much affection for his father. His mother had an affair while she was still alive, and he never stopped seeing other women afterwards.

The person he had always admired was Sir Harrison, but unfortunately the old man is no longer with us.

“Dad, if you’re worried, go back and take charge. I won’t give up on Natalie!”

The father and son were at a stalemate.

“Do you think you can win back Natalie without strength? What good will come from con- fronting the Ximenez and Shaw families head–on? Think about it, if you have nothing to your name, do you even stand a chance?”

“Honestly, it’s better to compromise first and then plan carefully. I have already found a mid- dleman to contact both of them and sit down for a discussion. Indirect approach can be a way out.”

Felix only heard about being able to sit down and talk with the Shaw family.
