To facilitate the conversation, the office had a sign language teacher brought by Alan to help Lexie translate.
Lexie gritted her teeth and met the gaze of the gym teacher, [The person in the video is not me, you explain.]
"How come it wasn't you?" The gym teacher said, "You were the one who took the initiative to seduce me back then."
[You're talking nonsense]
Lexie gestured quickly, [Why should I seduce you?]
The sign language interpreter's words fell on Alan's ears, and he pondered.
Although Lexie was a mute, she was the eldest young lady of the the Mitchell family, and seducing an ugly-looking gym teacher was indeed unbelievable.
The gym teacher, however, perked up, "You were for high gym scores, and the school you applied to for study abroad needed all excellent scores in all subjects, but your gym scores were so poor. You seduced me and threatened me with a video, so I had no choice but to change your scores."
Lexie's face turned white and she hurriedly gestured in defense, how could she possibly seduce the teacher just to change her scores?
The way Alan looked at her changed as well.
In a stalemate, he stopped coldly, "Go get the file."
The school files have records of the grades in each subject, and once they saw the files, the truth of everything would come out.
The file was quickly picked up.
Although Lexie was a mute, her grades in all subjects were actually very good, except for her gym grades at the end of the second semester of her sophomore year, which had a failing grade that was crossed out in red.
Changing from failing to excellent, anyone could see the problem.
A strong chill instantly rose in Alan's cold eyes as he coldly questioned Lexie, "What else do you have to say?"
Lexie's face was almost paler than the walls as she shook her head feebly.
With a 'pop', the file bag was slammed on the desk, "From today onwards, you're not my wife anymore."
The entire office fell silent at this.
Lexie panicked, she couldn't believe that Alan had believed someone's story so easily.
No, she couldn't let Alan loathe her! It had to be explained clearly.
She couldn't leave the Howard family, for her grandma's life was still in Peter's hands.
In desperation, Lexie stopped Alan and gestured sharply.
[I can get my classmates to testify]
"No need, it is a disgrace to the family!"
Alan's tone was indifferent, and he swept her a disgusted glance, striding away without hesitation.
"Mr. Alan, I'll see you off." The principal was following, and the rest of the teachers scattered.
Looking at Alan's back, Lexie's mind went blank, and not knowing who had intentionally or unintentionally bumped into her, she stumbled, hit her knee on the coffee table, and squatted down in pain.
"Are you okay? Lexie," came the man's voice from behind her.
Lexie came out of the pain, she turned around like a reflex, and before she could stand she jerked back several steps, looking at the bald man in front of her in horror.
Everyone in the office was gone, leaving her and the gym teacher.
[Don't come over]
"Alan came to my door, I thought it was going to be a big disaster this time," the gym teacher sneered, "I didn't expect it to be solved so easily, it looks like you're having a hard time in the Howard family, Lexie."
