Athena almost instantly captured the danger and something amiss.

Just as she was about to get up to leave, Annie acted first.

A sudden pain shot through her lower back.

Annie held a taser in her hand, gazing at Athena, unconscious on the ground. A nearly manic smile slowly spread across her face.

"Heather, the revenge is about to begin officially. Are you watching? As your sister, I am going to avenge you!" Annie thought.

Fifteen minutes later.

The security guard outside the door checked the time and asked his colleague, "Don't you think Mrs. Crawford has been in there for too long?"

Another security guard also glanced at the time. "Miss Annie Ross was so frightened. How could things be settled in just a few words of consolation?"

Another ten minutes passed.

They received a call from Byron.

"Mr. Crawford!"

"Where's Athena?" Byron's voice sounded extremely grave on the other end.

"Mrs. Crawford is in Miss Annie Ross' room," the security guard replied.

"Now, enter the room and let Athena take the call!" Byron's voice was stern.

"Got it!"

The security guards knocked on the door immediately.

There was no response from inside.

They faintly sensed that something was wrong.

Promptly, they took out a spare room key, opened the door, and rushed in.

In the spacious suite, there were no signs of a struggle. However, the two people that had been in the room just moments ago were now nowhere to be found.
