"But we must take the money!" The woman's husband hastily stopped her.
"She said I was slandering her. I must make everything clear!" The woman yelled.
Bertha glanced at her daughter. She brought Zora up and knew Zora very well. She knew what Zora was thinking just through a glance.
"Alright!" Bertha shouted with a cold face.
The arguing couple fell silent.
"Tell me your account number. Seth, give them the money!"
"Mom!" Zora was shocked.
At least, they should bargain with those people.
"Enough!" Bertha glanced at Zora with warning eyes.
She didn't agree with Zora about leading these people to make trouble for Imbe Group. Bertha had known these people for so long, and she knew what kind of people they were.
They always bullied the weak and surrendered to the strong.
They were so selfish that they didn't care about anyone else.
Zora had never seen her mother so serious. She was a little scared.
"I will give you the money immediately, but I have to warn you first. From then on, we will be strangers. Don't ask for our help when you are in trouble. My children and I will never help you again."
But those people just wanted money. They never thought about the future.
After leaving the island, everyone would make a fortune themselves, and they probably would never meet each other again.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Mommy Became A Billionaire After the Breakup
I am at Chapter 550 and there are almost 2 stories in 1. Aron and Evie's story could very well have been made into another story. Such a waste of time because I am reading for Byron and Athena, not Evie and Aron...
Is there no new updates after this one?...
