My Mommy Became A Billionaire After the Breakup novel Chapter 1776

Chapter 1776 How Could You

"That whore!"

Fred was seething with rage.

He repeatedly pounded the table, unable to contain his emotions.

Athena lowered her eyes, thinking Fred would be in deep trouble this time, if not worse.

"If she had spoken, how could you be here today?" Gideon stared at him, anger gradually boiling from his eyes. "She never told me about every time you teamed up to bully her. Do you know why?"

Fred's face turned ashen.

He fixated on Gideon, not uttering a word.

"Because she didn't want to lose my friendships because of her. Isn't that funny?" Gideon exploded in rage, smashing the porcelain plate in front of him. "I can't believe I distanced myself from Sally because of people like you! What a ridiculous!"

Fred and Gideon had grown up together.

Although Fred had seen Gideon angry, he had never seen him this furious.

Alarms were ringing in his mind.

He started to realize something.

"Gideon... let's all calm down, okay?"

"You want me to calm down?" Gideon took a deep breath, "Then admit it."

"Admit what?" Fred asked, perplexed.

"Admit that you were so petty and vindictive. When Sally rejected your advances during the candlelit dinner you meticulously planned, you became infuriated and began bullying her with everyone around me!" Gideon spat out, his teeth gritted.

He was initially unaware of all this.

Until half a month ago.

Sally had assumed the evening was Gideon's attempt to reconcile, and that's why all these arrangements were made.

Fred's excitement waned significantly. Forcing a smile, he said, "I invited you. Why would Gideon be here? Sally... I believe those photos don't tell the whole story. Unlike Gideon, I truly love and accept you for who you are. Can you give me a chance, to be with and protect you?"

Sally looked genuinely shocked.

"Aren't you Gideon's friend? How could you do this to him?"

"You two have broken up..."

"Forget it," Sally, looking flustered, interrupted, "Sorry, I thought Gideon was here. That's why I came. Since he's not, I should leave. My apologies..."

She turned to leave.

Her definitive stance took Fred aback.

Every word she said revolved around Gideon!
