Chapter 43 A Ruthless Woman 

But Athena didn’t even give Carlos a chance to surrender himself. 

As Carlos left the office, he was handcuffed by the police officers who came to arrest him. 

“Athena, you are such a ruthless woman. You will be dead as a doornail!” Carlos was still shouting and cursing while he was pushed into the car. 

Gideon frowned, subconsciously looking at Athena. 

The cursed Athena looked cold. 

Gideon raised his eyebrows slightly. “When did you arrange these things? You didn’t tell me anything.” 

“The matter happened during the time I was in charge. Naturally, I have to deal with it before handing it over to you, Mr. Hale,” Athena said calmly. 

“You didn’t give him the chance to surrender himself! You 

are such a ruthless woman. We’ve known each other for five 

years, right? But Miss Newton, till today, I realize you are so ruthless.” Gideon crossed his arms. Although he said it 

“If I give anyone like him a chance, I will be dead as a doornail, as he said.” Athena paused. “Besides, they smashed up my friend’s car, which is very expensive.” 

“You are vindictive. That is good.” Gideon smiled and gave her a thumbs-up. 

“Mr. Hale, I’ll handle it. Do you have any objections?” Athena raised the list in her hand. 

Gideon did not have the slightest confidence in Athena before coming here. 

But Gideon was utterly convinced by her just now.

Athena waved to a trembling man not far away. 

This one was Matt Vega, the director of the personnel ministry.
