Chapter 59 Double Blow 

Byron froze for a moment. 

“What nonsense are you talking about?” 

He slammed the table hard. 

Liam shuddered, and then he was sure that Byron really had 

no idea about this. 

But Byron and Athena were so close! 

How could he have no idea about this? 

How could it be possible that he didn’t know about Athena’s grandmother’s death? 

Liam still remembered that Athena had lost a lot of weight

“Oh, right. I remembered. When her grandmother passed away, you were still in Europe.”

Byron stood up and shouted sharply.

had posted on her Instagram at the end of April, which he had seen the night before yesterday.

“Call Athena!” Byron said in a deep voice. 

Liam nodded and quickly took out his phone. 

He made the call, but the cold notification sounded again. 

Athena’s phone was switched off again. 

“She turned off her phone.” Liam looked at Byron in fear. 

“Check her whereabouts immediately. I want to know where she is as soon as possible.” Byron’s voice was so cold that it could almost freeze the air around him. 

“Yes, sir!” 

Liam turned around and went out. 

Byron stood where he was, unable to calm down his 

breathing. 

In the end, he kicked the shelf hard and knocked it over. 

The employees outside heard the commotion inside and all 

fell silent. 

After a while, 

somebody came upstairs through the president’s special 

elevator. 

Then, Gideon came out of the elevator in a hurry. 

“Mr. Hale, why are you back?” 

“Is Byron in the office?” Gideon asked. 

“Yes, but sir…” 

Before the secretary could finish speaking, 

Gideon went straight to the Office of the President. 

As soon as he pushed open the door, 

he saw the mess inside.
