"Don't make me laugh. Do you know how expensive those two toys are? If you sold your sister and yourself off, you couldn't afford them!" Another boy said, about to kick him again. "You're just a rotten orphan with dead parents. Who are you to rob me of my things?"
The kick didn't land on the boy.
George went over and kicked the boy in the stomach, making him scream and fall to the ground.
"Sir, how can you do that to a child..." The one who tried to mediate was startled.
The bald man, who had been watching, glared at George. "Who are you? How dare you hit my friend!"
"George!"
The little girl recognized George first. With tears on her face, she ran over and hugged his leg.
George looked down at her.
She seemed to be in a worse situation than last time. Her face was bruised, and her hair was messy.
Hearing his sister's voice, the boy looked up.
"You know them?" The bald man sneered, "These two little bastards stole something very expensive from me and smashed it when they were caught. They have to pay for it."
"Expensive things like toys and building blocks?" George asked.
The bald man froze, then sneered, "So, you're on the same side."
Instead of saying another word, George took out his phone and dialed 911.
"What are you doing?" The bald man was taken aback.
"Calling the police," George replied. "These two toys are custom-made by a designer and are unique. I gave them to the two kids, but you have them now."
"You bought them?" The bald man changed colors.
"Do you want to see the receipt?" George paused. "Forget it. I'll show it to the police when they arrive."
"Damn!"
The bald man cursed.
He didn't want to deal with the police.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Mommy Became A Billionaire After the Breakup
I am at Chapter 550 and there are almost 2 stories in 1. Aron and Evie's story could very well have been made into another story. Such a waste of time because I am reading for Byron and Athena, not Evie and Aron...
Is there no new updates after this one?...
