"Is it a gift?" the counselor asked.
Evie thought for a while and said, "There is no written explanation. But I bought them with my card."
"It's simple. Please send us the relevant transfer purchase records if you want to recover them. We will deal with the follow-ups."
"Good. I'll have someone send it to you tomorrow."
Evie collapsed directly on the bed with her arms open as if all her strength had run out.
She didn't want to be Aron's trouble.
And she didn't want to see the same impatient look Caspian and Jane had on Aron's face.
So, she had to solve it all by herself.
When Evie was at school, there was a trendy saying.
"If you can't hold onto something, let it go."
At that time, she even used this sentence as her motto and thought it was cool and unique.
But times had changed.
She realized how hurtful it was when she understood what that sentence meant.
Athena was going to visit Archer's family after having a nice dinner.
"Don't you want me to go with you?" Byron stood in front of the car, frowning.
Athena shook her head. "You don't need to contact them."
"Are you trying to protect me?" Byron wanted to get an answer from Athena.
Before Athena could say anything, the car window was rolled down.
With her hands on the car window, Mia blinked her watery eyes and looked at Byron and then at Athena. "Mommy, are you going out on a date?"
Athena was stunned.
"Go. Alice will take care of Aiden and me!" Mia continued.
"It's not a date." Athena poked Mia's nose. "I'm going out for something. And Dad will go home with you."

The readers' comments on the novel: My Mommy Became A Billionaire After the Breakup
I am at Chapter 550 and there are almost 2 stories in 1. Aron and Evie's story could very well have been made into another story. Such a waste of time because I am reading for Byron and Athena, not Evie and Aron...
Is there no new updates after this one?...
